Rolls-Royce Ghost 2010

Rolls-Royce puts simplicity, proportions, whisper-free, dynamic drive and its own very special “Magic Carpet Ride” in its luxury saloon automobile slated for 2010. The title Ghost is after the car manufactured in 1906. The announcement was made at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, 2009 and the official unveiling took place at the Frankfurt Motor Show at a later period. The concept is named 200EX, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March, 2009.the body is made of steel of quality tensile strength to make it lighter but stronger. The chassis has the four corner air suspension systems combining a set of multi-link front and rear axels. Active Roll Stabilization and Variable Dumping Controls with the springs provide best comfort to passengers of the car. The engine of Rolls-Royce Ghost is 6.6 liter twin-turbo V12 for 571 bhp or 426 kW power with ZF gearbox having 8 speed automatic transmissions. The engine provides 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and the top speed is 155 mph, which is limited electronically.
Rolls-Royce Ghost offers the privilege of Night Vision Systems. It remains inactive during the day but when light goes down, the silent infrared camera is able to identify the body heat of persons within 300 meters from the vehicle. The main control center displays the image and the drive gets enough time to react positively. The other extraordinary feature is the Lane departure Warning System to assist the driver during long journeys.
